a place for politics and art to smash together

to analyse the disconnects between the different types of political and/or politised language

This series of ‘lectures’ looks at analysing the different barriers, borders and obstructions in relation to political/politicised language, through the term ‘facades’.

the principal front of a building, that faces on to a street or open space.

"the house has a half-timbered facade"

a deceptive outward appearance.

"his flawless public facade masked private despair"

Lies and misdirections are commonplace with politics, through the idea of facades, using both meanings of the word, these lectures start to break down common themes within contemporary politics.

While each lecture has its own subject, they should be viewed as whole, one following nature that moves through different identities and areas of politics today. Some are intended as educational, while others act as thought provoking.
